Author Guidelines
All authors submitting their manuscripts for publication in Zoo-Journal are requested to adhere to the following guidelines while preparing the manuscripts. Manuscripts that do not meet these guidelines will not be considered for publication.
- Original research articles, book reviews, short communication, seminar/symposium/conference proceedings in the field of zoology and environmental sciences should be sent for publication.
- The manuscript should be in English, typed double space on one side paper, using Times new Roman font, size 12 and submitted in duplicate in electronic version via email.
- The manuscript should be of any two categories: (a) full-text paper (not exceeding 10 pages) including figures, tables, charts, graphs, maps, etc. (b) short communication paper (not exceeding 3 pages).
- The manuscript should contain the name and address of the authors (s) and abstract paper (not exceeding 250 words), introduction, study area, materials and methods, results, discussion, recommendation (if any), acknowledgements and references. The figures, maps, tables, charts, graphs, etc. should be on separate pages.
- The unit of measurements must be metric (unit).
- The names of fauna and flora must follow the binomial system of nomenclature with authority year and be italicized.
- The articles published elsewhere should not be submitted for publication. All manuscripts, which are in the format specified by the journal will be sent to the reviewers for peer review. The editorial board will notify the acceptance, need for revision or rejection of the article.
- The revised manuscript in electronic version should be submitted to the journal within the specified time via email.
- The list of references should be prepared in the APA format, which should citedin the text. The following are some examples of the references in the list:
